Refunds & Cancellations Policy

Refund decisions are evidence-based and event-specific. This policy sets the operational process without removing any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Voluntary cancellation requests

A patron may submit a refund request through Rush support before the published event cut-off. Rush’s standard operational cut-off is 48 hours before the event starts, but statutory rights and remedies remain unaffected. Every request is reviewed rather than automatically approved.

Reasonable cancellation charge

Where applicable law permits a cancellation charge for an advance booking, Rush may consider how early the request was made, the nature of the booking, the event capacity, the likelihood of reselling the ticket, administrative work already performed and other lawful factors. Any charge must be reasonable in the circumstances.

Event cancellation

If Rush cancels an event and does not provide the contracted service, affected orders will be handled under the event notice and applicable law. Rush may request verification of the purchaser and payment reference before releasing funds.

Postponement or material change

For a postponement or material change, Rush may offer the lawful options appropriate to the circumstances, such as retaining the ticket for the new date, a controlled transfer, account credit or a refund. A minor lineup or running-order change does not automatically amount to a material change.

Non-attendance and entry refusal

Missing the event, arriving late, losing access to a device, failing to bring required identification, or being refused or removed for a lawful safety or conduct reason does not automatically create a refund entitlement. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.

Transfers, replaced tickets and fraud

Refunds are assessed against the current lawful ticket owner and payment record. A refunded, replaced, reversed or fraud-linked ticket is invalidated. Rush may pause a request while ownership, chargeback, duplicate QR or payment concerns are investigated.

Refund method and timing

Approved refunds are normally returned through the original or another verified lawful payment route. Processing time can depend on the payment provider and bank. Rush will record the decision and communicate material status changes.

Third-party costs and chargebacks

Travel, accommodation and other third-party costs are not promised unless applicable law or an express written commitment requires otherwise. Patrons should contact Rush before raising a chargeback so a legitimate issue can be investigated without duplicating remedies.
